About Us

Do you ever feel like you spend too much time on Facebook, Barstool, or Reddit? Have you ever felt like you should know about what is going on with our country, but have actually no idea what is happening?

Welcome to “Pizza Boxes and Politics,” the place where you can actual enjoy reading about politics. We’re not here to preach, but to inform, in an easy and entertaining way. There is a lot going on outside of your college bubble, and you have the right to understand what is happening.

You’re probably thinking, “I have no interest in this, so I’m not even going to read it,” and that would totally be understandable. A lot of times, publications try to force the issues and decisions down your throats, forcing to read their own black-and-white analysis of the major political news in the United States. In the past, you may have read these other publications because you felt like you had to, just to stay on top of things and not look dumb when your parents ask you to discuss the most recent economic decision.

With this website, we want you to want to read, to want to keep coming back to our site for an easy and fun explanations to what is going on. We will be funny, we will be serious, but above anything else, we will be engaging. We want you, the typical college student, to feel like you are getting something other than just a lesson out of reading our work. If we aren’t talking about something that you think we should, drop us an email. We would love to put that topic out there for other people to know about.

With that, crack open that large pepperoni pie you just ordered, maybe crack open a beer, and take a look around. A procrastination site that you actually learn something from is pretty cool, don’t you think?
